Having finished SUPERDRIVE, participants have transformed their initial ideas into minimum viable products MVPs. They have finalized their marketing and sales strategies and pitch decks to be presented to potential partners and investors. Participants focus on finalizing their MVPs – the goal is not to create a perfect product or service but a feasible proof of concept.
SUPERDRIVE boosts projects in the areas of
– wearable tech,
– mobile apps,
– self-tracking and
– the Quantified Self.
Students of Macromedia University can apply for SUPERDRIVES as individuals and teams by presenting their ideas to the SUPERDRIVE board. Of all individuals and teams, no more than 6 will be selected and can write 4.000-6.000 character outlines of their projects. No more than 3 individuals or teams will be selected to participate in the program.

During the first 4 months of their semester, the participants create their MVPs based on their initial ideas or concepts. In parallel, the participants learn the most relevant aspects of founding a startup in workshops with SUPERDRIVE mentors. During the remaining weeks of the semester, the MVPs will be finalized and pitch decks will be created. After 6 months, participants will either incorporate their startups or are ready to launch their product or service together with industry partners. SUPERDRIVE mentors will support the teams during the complete program.

Representatives of Macromedia University and Datarella act as mentors in the SUPERDRIVE incubation program. The mentors provide access to their business network and to potential investors. The mentors also support the SUPERDRIVE participants in creating their presentations and pitch decks.
Every SUPERDRIVE project is officially recognized as an internship at Datarella GmbH. Workspace will be provided by Macromedia University. All SUPERDRIVE projects are seen as joint ventures between the participants and SUPERDRIVE. All proceeds and/or shares of the projects will be shared equally by the parties.—–
